With over 25 years of experience in mainstream and inclusive schools in the National Capital Region, Ms. Sethi has excelled in various educational roles. She began as a middle school teacher at Modern School, Barakhamba Road, and served as a special educator at Amity International School, Saket & Pushp Vihar. Her administrative skills and deep understanding of child development have led her to leadership positions such as Senior Coordinator (SEN) at Step By Step School, Noida, Special Needs Consultant at Ambience Public School and Shiv Nadar Schools, and Headmistress of the Junior School at Ambience Public School, Safdarjung Enclave.

Ms. Sethi is a dedicated lifelong learner, having completed an international course, ‘Sounds in Syllables,’ to become a Reading & Writing Specialist.

In addition to her educational pursuits, Ms. Sethi is a creative individual, engaging in painting, culinary arts, and creating educational resources for children. A sports enthusiast, she enjoys playing badminton and basketball with her students. She also loves music and gardening.

During his college days, he not only secured the prestigious K.C. Ghoshal Memorial prize, but also took up different leadership positions, including Student Panchayat president at CIE.

Mr. Dutta started his career as PGT English at Bal Bharati Public School, Dwarka, where he was also appointed as the Head of Department for English. Later, he joined The Shri Ram School, Moulsari as Academic Coordinator for middle school (CISCE curriculum). He continued to teach English Language and Literature at senior school and Theory of Knowledge for the International Baccalaureate (IB) curriculum. His endeavour has always been to keep students engaged with the subject in the classroom and enable them to make connections to the world around them. Mr. Dutta has also been associated with the CISCE council in various capacities, from Supervising Examiner to Team Leader for English.

Outside the classroom, Mr. Dutta takes an active interest in everything tech and keeps himself updated with the ever-evolving field of ed-tech. He takes a keen interest in co-curricular activities ranging from art and theatre to cycling and football. In his leisure, he loves to read, especially books by John le Carré and Gabirel Garcia Marquez.

She started her teaching journey with Father Agnel School and later moved on to Shri Ram

School, Aravali, before wearing many hats at Nirmal Bhartia School – from Community Head to Head of Junior and Middle School, and now leads Sanskriti, where her heart truly belongs. She has continuously enriched her practice through workshops on the Reggio Emilia approach, Dimensions of Learning by Guy J Blackburn, Thinking Based Learning by Dr. Robert J Swartz, and a Harvard course on ‘Strategies for Effective Classroom Practice’.

Known for her creative spirit, love for travel, and unwavering commitment to excellence, she inspires all those around her to aim higher and do better.

From leading projects, writing newsletters, building the school’s digital footprint, to curating community events ¬– she believes in the power of connection, SMILE, and Together We Can!

She subsequently worked in Delhi as a communication sk ills and voice and accent trainer at a BPO training institute. Passionate about authentic communication that foster deeper connections, she has been associated with NiBS for the last eighteen years, working continuously in strengthening community engagement. She is also an author and a yoga and fitness enthusiast.

A committed lifelong learner, she participated in the Basic Lab sessions conducted by the Indian Society for Applied Behavioural Sciences (ISABS) and did a certification from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad on ‘Interpersonal Effectiveness and Team Building’. Determined to further deepen her understanding of individual strengths, she undertook a course on Creativity and Personal Mastery by Dr. Srikumar Rao.

With over 19 years of experience in the field of Consulting and Personnel Management, Ms. Arora has been a founding member of the School Pragati Team and works meticulously to ensure that she serves as an exemplar, upholding the VOICE of NiBS, in her trademark gentle, yet firm manner.

In addition, Ms. Arora loves baking and cooking for her loved ones. She is inclined towards developing deeper meaningful connections and is keen to further extend her understanding of human behaviour and ability to nurture and inspire deeper connections.

He has completed his MSc in Defence and Strategic Studies from Madras University, PGDM in Supply Chain Management from GD Goenka University, and a Diploma in Senior Level Management from Indore University. He is also an alumnus of the Defence Services Staff College, Wellington. A qualified helicopter pilot, Col VK Chauhan has 18 service medals to his credit, apart from being a recipient of the Chief of Army Staff Commendation Card in 2008. We are delighted to now have him serve as Head of Administration at Nirmal Bhartia School.
