This is a collaborative design challenge where students research in groups to provide innovative and feasible solutions to significant real world problems. Started in 2010, each edition of TWC saw students from various NCR schools actively involving in tasks that require creativity, research and project management skills and team work. TWC 2018 was held in partnership with Creya XL, an award winning STEM Learning & Design thinking programme. The solutions are judged by domain experts.

Amidst the worsening smog situation in Delhi, TWC 2018 challenge required students to construct gadgets to prevent, control or reduce pollution. Students from fourteen schools designed solutions ranging from wet scrubbers to air purifiers to mobile Apps, to monitor air pollution.

Best Design Solution was bagged by SVIS for their innovative app. Runners up trophy for the Best Design Solution was given to The Shri Ram School .Trophy for the best presentation was a tie between Bal Bharti and Nirmal Bhartia School.. The trophy for the Effective Use of Design Principles was given to The Vasant Valley School for their innovative design of the bulldozer.
