VOICE OF ART 2018

Voice of Art’ is a research and art challenge that requires students to study social and environmental issues affecting our everyday lives and respond with solutions expressed using visual arts media.
Non-competitive and non-restrictive in format, the challenge encourages long standing social issues to be seen in totally different and fresh perspectives and with sensitivity, all afforded by the use of visual arts. VoA 2018 was inspired by the deplorable and potentially hazardous quality of air in the city of Delhi and required students to express their views with regards to the state of the air in our metropolis in their own unique ways. The students’ work from all participating schools were
displayed at a specially curated, first-time ever two-day ‘Voice of Art’ Exhibition at the Sanskriti Kala
Kendra, New Delhi on 30th November and 1st December, 2018, where the participating teams received expert and valuable feedback from an eminent panel of experienced art educators, artists and thought leaders as well as their peers. Additionally, they were also displayed at the Bikaner House, India Gate, on 15th and 16th December, 2018 during their Christmas festivities.
